We are so very lucky to have a special family member to take care of our baby while we work! That special someone is Pat, one of my mother-in-laws. Anderson has learned so much from her, and we definitely think she could come out of "retirement" to teach more kids! But just grandkids for now, she says. Everyday at Mammaw's School, she fills out a sheet of the activities Anderson did that day. Here are some of my favorites over the past year.
10-12-10: Swang in the swing. Madison pushed me. Laid on mat looking all around.
10-19-10: Yelling/talking, making all kinds of noises
10-21-10: Hugged on white teddy bear. Grabbing toys to shake. Looking at self in mirror.
10-25-10: Played in Bumbo. Wore witch's hat. Couldn't see good with hat over eyes. Pushing feet against my hand to move body on floor.
11-5-10: Talking, said sounds "dada" and "N." Sitting up holding angel. Hitting xylophone with hands. Smiling at himself in mirror.
11-29-10: Playing tamborine and shaking egg shakers. Took off circles from stacker. Pulling to stand up holding onto fingers. Pushing himself forward in walker.
11-30-10: Sitting up and took his sock off and chewed on it. Watching a fire burn in fireplace.
12-1-10: Tasted puzzle piece #1, held it, and shook it. Listened to books and Christmas music.
12-2-10: Chewing on ABC's while listening to alphabet letters and sounds.

12-15-10: Making more sounds with mouth- even patting mouth when making sounds. Feeling Christmas tree branch, reaching for ornament.
1-4-11: Turned his name puzzle over and chewed on the letter "A." Grabbing a book, holding it up high looking at it. Turned pages too.
1-5-11: Grabbing Madison's book. She was sitting right next to him. She told him "no."
1-7-11: Untied my shoe and played with the string. Tried using crayons and markers on paper. Went from sitting to on his belly. Popping bubbles; reaching out to get them.

1-25-10: Scooting backwards on knees and belly, then got himself in a corner.
1-27-10: Stood up by train table, holding on to train and beating it on the table. Taking out cars from box and rolling them. Rolled over from back to stomach and back to back.
2-8-11: Took out all of the toys from box. On his belly scooting to reach other toys. Put crayons in his mouth after coloring on paper. I'd take it out of his mouth and he'd put it back and laugh.

2-22-11: smelling a bag of coffee (wanted to put it in his mouth more than smelling)
