Six months old! (Well, almost 7)
The days are long and the nights are longer (she still wakes up about 3 times a night- which makes for long days for me at work) Which is why I have not been able to update the blog since I went back to work in August!! Adam's football season also seems to be neverending because they keep winning LOL I decided I am just going to have to jump in and then backdate some posts as I can before I get too far behind. Life is busy and hard and fun and thankless and so so sweet right now. I can't even describe it. The added element of watching Anderson and Izabella take care of Elliette as if she was their own child and then Elliette looking for them and responding to them in ways so different than anyone else. No one can make her laugh harder than they do! Sometimes all they have to do is say her name and she just cracks up!
Her sweet smile and babbling and fun personality make it all worth it though! She is pretty happy go lucky unless she is sleepy or hungry!

Everywhere we go, Elliette is keeping up with every person she sees, every sound she hears, nothing gets past her! She even has to taste everything if we let her! Especially at the pumpkin patch HA!
We had lots of fun at Roseberry Farms pumpkin patch! We packed a picnic lunch and met Mammaw and all the cousins for a fun day! Adam had gotten back from a football game late Friday night, then managed to get up for Izabella's volleyball game at 9, then pumpkin patch right after!

Had to do an outfit change because it is Arkansas and it was steaming hot on October 23rd!
Some other fall festivities we've done:
Our neighborhood had our first ever fall festival and we were so excited to meet neighbors and other kids! This is the only pic we got but there were hot dogs, hayrides, and an inflatable slide!! It was so great to see Anderson throwing a football with some of the neighborhood boys and Izabella racing other little girls up the slide.
Allie and Elliette chillin at Mammaw's crib through the week. They run the show and keep Mammaw hoppin with all their orders :D

Lots of long days and nights but we try to have fun
Adam gets home way after Elliette goes to bed but he takes her to Mammaw's in the mornings so he can see her. My mom, GiGi, has been coming a few times a week to help out and take Izabella and Anderson to scouts and volleyball, thank goodness! Elliette turns into a pumpking around 7 pm!
The kids' school had a Trunk or Treat. Anderson was HALO Master Chief (from a video game) and Izabella was a mom LOL :)

They ran into their friends and had a lot of fun!

Izabella is loving volleyball! She played her friend, Gracie, this past Saturday :)
Adam got back at 4:30 in the morning from a road trip game, so we went to a coffee shop after her game. Elliette again- too busy for pictures :)
We went to Family Farm with church. Julie, Rachel Kate, and Luke met us there!

Halloween morning! Elliette has been going to the nursery for a month or two. They told us she "played hard the whole time, then crashed!" She wouldn't wake up when we picked her up :)
Of course Izabella changed costumes (some random old one we've had at our house) for actual trick or treating. Elliette and I stayed in to hand out candy but Elliette fell asleep before any trick or treaters came so it was just me and GiGi! Adam got home from game film and went trick or treating with Anderson and Izabella.
soooo much candy! but even more fun!
They sorted it all and traded just like Chad and I did when we were their age!!
Then they picked their top 20 pieces to keep because, well, health, and teeth! Izabella is trying HARD to avoid any more crowns!!! She has had enough! :)
