3 months with Elliette!

Elliette is beginning to "talk" and laugh so much!  She will "talk" back and forth to anyone that will talk to her!  She loves watching us walk by and watching everything in general!  Her head just pops right up and everywhere we go, people comment on how strong her neck is - I just say she doesn't like to miss anything LOL!

She also grabs her hair and screams because she doesn't realize she is putting her own hair and it is hilarious!  She has done this several times but I keep forgetting to write about it.  I don't want to forget it because the other kids never did that- but they also didn't have as long of hair as she has either!

She is also TEETHING!  We can see them under her gums on the bottom and she is biting everything!   A baby teething at 3 months old- another first for us!  HA

She is getting better at using her hands so that comes in handy to chew on things!  It is so fun watching her discover her hands and reach for things :)

This toy set with a coffee cup, crinkly newspaper, and there is also a donut!  I love it :D

 

We took a "practice" trip to Poplar Bluff before our 10 hour drive to Florida so Elliette could meet Great Grandma Hays and Aunt Vicki and Uncle Tex.  Grandma Hays put her to sleep singing "Beautiful Beautiful Brown Eyes" (like she used to sing to me!)  Except Elliette's eyes are blue😂 But Grandma is pretty sure they are going to turn brown LOL

Let's just talk about how much ANDERSON is growing!  He is eye level with me now too!

They love riding in the side by side when they go to Uncle Tex and Aunt Vicki's.  The rule is you can drive it when you are 10!  So Izabella will get to drive next year :)

Weeks 7 and 8

How we are spending our days.... Anderson and Izabella are still loving taking care of their sister.  Anderson read her a book and afterward, he told me that Elliette was trying to sound out the word "eggs" every time he read it 😍😂😂😂  She is just gonna be so smart!!!!

Anderson and Izabella attended Backyard VBS at New Life.  We went to Paster Chad's house and they had so much fun!

The second night of VBS was in the church parking lot with carnival food and games :)

I always keep my neck pillow handy, and also a fly swatter!  It never fails that I will be trapped under a baby when a fly starts landing on my arm or face!!!!!  Drives me crazy!
