Adventures with Anderson

Last month, my dad came down to Little Rock to have his knee replaced by Dr. Ken Martin.  It was definitely worth it, considering his amazing outcome, plus he got to spend two weeks with his favorite grandson!!

Here are some other photos I've been meaning to share:

This is the "Ghost of Christmas Present," as Adam likes to call him!  Adam holds Anderson up around a corner chanting that and moving Anderson around like a ghost and it's so hilarious!  He still fits into some of his gowns because he is so short, his legs don't stick out!

And finally, GOOD MORNING!  from Anderson Reed!

Happy Valentine's Day from Anderson Reed!

This was taken after his Valentine's party at church last week.  (It was also Parents'/Sweethearts' Night Out for Valentine's Day, but we told him he was going to the Valentine Party)

No, he's still not fully crawling yet.  He "inchworms" forward on his hands and feet with his rearend in the air!  He loves to stand (supported, of course!).

Anderson sent me flowers and even wrote me a note!

Thank you, Great Grandma Hays and Great Mammaw Ruth for the yummy Valentine cards!

He was so excited, he thought he won the jackpot!

Anderson with his gifts from church and family too.

Daddy came home!

Anderson's first snow days!

We've had quite a bit of snow for Arkansas lately!  This is Anderson's first snow.  We got about seven inches.

These pictures are from the most recent snow, where we got about 5 inches.  Anderson got to use his snowsuit from Uncle Chad and Stacey!

 Our little snowangel!
Then Adam dumped snow on top of him!

He was glad to get back in the warmth with Mrs. Rebecca!
She is a friend from work who is a social worker.  Because we work at Baptist, we are considered "essential staff" and have to go in on snow days (which is especially sad when your husband is a teacher and gets to stay home on snow days!!)  Rebecca lives about 45 minutes away, so she stayed out our house so she could make it into work the next day.

I thought Adam was silly for setting these bowls out the night before, but it worked out perfect for some snow ice cream!

A few more pictures of Anderson being snowed in

Adam and Anderson at bathtime

Bathtime is something Adam does with Anderson every night.  They have too much fun!

All because two people fell in love...
