Our little turkey

Elliette spends most of her days playing with her cousin, Allie.  Sometimes she grabs her nose or crawl on her so Mammaw has to keep a close eye!

She "army crawled" for the longest time (SO fast too!) and I wasn't concerned until she started pulling up on everything!  I didn't want to chance her skipping true crawling.   So we really started encouraging her to crawl on all fours and it didn't take much longer for her to catch on :)

Elliette is just one of the girls :)
Izabella's friend, Ashlynne, spent the night.  I think Elliette thinks she is just like everyone else- she doesn't know she's a baby 😂

We spent lots of Saturday mornings watching Izabella play volleyball!  Man, those 9 am games came early after Friday night football games but it was fun watching her do something she loved!  This was her first season to ever play volleyball.  Elliette enjoyed trying to crawl after the ball when it went out of bounds :)

Elliette started eating more solid foods and she loves it!  Yogurt, avocado, chili, green beans are some of her favorites, although she will try most anything :)  We go along with Baby Led Weaning, which is basically offering her "real" food at her own pace.  I love it because it is easier and she gets acclimated to real food and seasonings instead of bland baby food.  It is also important to me that she be in control of her eating so we just follow her lead.  I just give her whatever we are eating, I may just smash it up or modify it a little for her.

On her 7 month birthday, we actually all were ready and had time to take a pic AND she and Izabella were matching!  She looks so proud of her sign 😂

She continued to hang in there for Friday night football!  Staring at Daddy after the games, of course, and getting passed around during the games.

Still getting those after game selfies, although many times Elliette was fast asleep

Spending what time she has with Adam in the mornings!  Helping him get his shoes and socks on here.  She spends her mornings crawling around our bathroom and closet while we get ready.  I keep a few toys and books in the bathroom, but a lot of times she plays with our shoes or stands up to the tub!

Her new "thing" is scrunching up her nose and blowing in and out LOL!  It's the funniest thing

Here she is, doing it in the bathtub.  It is getting harder to keep her in her bathtub because she keeps pulling up!

One of our favorite things to do every year is to serve with our church by preparing Thanksgiving meals.  Me and the kids organize and pack boxes of food, and Adam brings his turkey fryer to fry turkeys.  Then they are delivered to families around Saline County.

Anderson's cub scout troop shot off rockets they made!

Then we went shopping for wrapping paper :)

When you get to the fifth grade at church, you get to help out at either the Kid Life store, you can lead worship, or do tech.  Mr Randy snapped this pic of Anderson helping run the Kid Life store, where kids can buy snacks and toys with their Kid Life cash they get for attendence, bringing their bible, inviting a friend, etc.

The Developmental Therapists were doing a project over the Thanksgiving break and needed typically developing babies, so Elliette got to come in for a fun day at KidSource :)

Thanksgiving Day:  Robinson had football practice that morning, then we came in for a community breakfast in the Champions Center.

Again, she hung until she couldn't hang anymore :D
Coaches' kids :)  I love that they have these friendships

Ms. Z, the athletic trainer

Then we went to Kenny and Pat's for Thankgiving.  Anderson is almost as tall as Mammaw Ruth!

It is always a fun day when all the cousins are together!!

Four generations

Brothers :)

And then we get to start decorating for Christmas!  Elliette loved the tree and the ornaments and the lights!

But first, MORE FOOTBALL!

Two of Elliette's favorite things is chasing the cats around the house (Chocolate Chip lets her catch him, but not TJ!) and playing in the cat food.  She has an amazing grip on cat food 😂

Thanksgiving at Aunt Kelli's, with more game film and cousin fun

Milestones:

6 months- crawling (army scooting)
7 months- pulling up and crawling on all fours, waves "bye bye"
8 months- says "Hi!" in a real high pitched voice, says "Mama" sometimes
8.5 months- signing "more" when eating

All because two people fell in love...
